Enjoy some social distanced fun downtown, November 28th-Janurary 9th, for our newest family-friendly activity, the Gnome on the Roam Scavenger Hunt. There are over 15 gnomes painted and hung on shop windows along Main Street and C Street with hidden items for you and your family to try and find within the paintings. Scavenger hunt forms can be found in front of Indy Commons and in several downtown businesses starting on November 28th. Pick one up and find the items hidden throughout the windows downtown and return the form to the drop box, (located at Indy Commons), for your chance to win! Those who submit a finished scavenger hunt form will be entered into our weekly drawing for a $20 gift certificate to any downtown business of your choice! Who's ready for some spooky fun?!? Due to COVID we can't have our annual Ghost Walk like we usually do, but we did put together a self-guided tour showcasing several buildings. Ghost Walk signs will be in place by noon on Friday, October 30th. Download the map, or stop by Brew Coffee & Tap House - Independence, Same As It Never Was Vintage, and Independent Ice Cream Shop to pick up a copy. Locations have QR codes that link to ghost stories told by Marilyn Morton!
